Welcome to our thrilling and unforgettable Wild BC Coastal adventure tour, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and witness incredible wildlife up close. Join us for an action-packed 7 days guided tour filled with hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, grizzly bear viewing, and whale watching, as we explore the stunning coastal wonders of Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island.

Our small group guided tours allow you to experience our wild BC and connect with the unique culture and history of local communities in a meaningful way.

• Experience authentic West Coast culture on the Sunshine Coast BC, enjoy beautiful hikes and expansive ocean vistas, and immerse yourself in the wonders of nature.

 

• Embark on an exhilarating kayaking adventure where you'll paddle through pristine waters, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty around the world-famous Desolation Sound Marine Park, and look for marine wildlife.

 

• Join local First Nations guides on a thrilling grizzly bear viewing expedition, where you'll have the opportunity to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

 

• Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of orcas, humpbacks, sea lions, dolphins, seals, and more, as they gracefully swim through the ocean.

 

• Enjoy an easy afternoon exploring the historic Telegraph Cove and learning about local culture.

 

• Experience the charms of historic downtown Victoria, Fisherman’s Wharf for unforgettable fish & chips, and visit the exquisite Butchart Gardens.

 

 

 

Full Itinerary:

Day 1: Vancouver - Sunshine Coast

Pick up from Vancouver downtown including hotels at around 8:30 am and arrive at Sunshine Coast via BC ferry (40 min). Visit Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, and hike in Smuggler Cove Provincial Park. Overnight on the Sunshine Coast.

Day 2: Sunshine Coast - Powell River

​

There are two options. Option 1. Half-day Salmon fishing trip (at extra cost please inquire ahead). Option 2. Take a hike in the Skookumchuck Narrows Park to experience the natural spectacle. In the afternoon, we will take the BC ferry (50 min) and drive to Powell River. Overnight in Powell River.

Day 3: The combo of Sea Kayaking and Snorkeling Tour- Powell River

​

A guided full-day sea kayaking and snorkeling tour paddle through Desolation Sound Marine Park. Overnight in Powell River.

​

Day 4: Powell River - Telegraph Cove

​

We will arrive at Comox via BC ferry (95 min) and drive to Telegraph Cove (3 hours). Explore Telegraph Cove at your own pace. Overnight in Telegraph Cove.

Day 5: Grizzly Bear Expedition

​

Full-day guided tour to see Knight Inlet Grizzly Bears departs from Telegraph Cover at 6:45 am and returns between 3:30-4:30 pm. Light breakfast and lunch included. Overnight in Telegraph Cove.

Day 6: Telegraph Cove – Victoria

​

Half-day whale watching & marine wildlife viewing tour departs from Telegraph Cove at 8 am. After lunch, we will drive to Victoria (5hs 30 mins). Overnight in Victoria.

Day 7: Victoria – Vancouver

​

Visit Victoria's historic downtown, Fisherman Wharf, and Buchard Garden. Head back to Vancouver via BC ferry in the late afternoon. (95 min)

What is included:

​

• All accommodation for 6 nights: Hotel based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is available at an additional cost.

• All ferry crossings and transportation from/to Vancouver in a comfortable and spacious 7-seater SUV.

• All activities listed in the itinerary, including a full-day sea kayaking tour, a full-day grizzly bear expedition, a half-day whale-watching & marine wildlife tour, and an entrance fee to Buchard Garden.

• 7 Adventures Tour provides a guide/driver for the duration of the trip, local knowledge, and logistics.

 

What’s not included:

​

• Half-day Salmon fishing charter tour on the Sunshine Coast ($900 plus 5% GST, up to 4 people, each additional is $75 per person) Please inquire ahead.

• All Meals except the lunch provided for the bear viewing tour.

• Personal expenses and travel insurance.

• Gratuity for our wonderful guides.

 

Tour Dates 2024: June 23-29, July 14-20, Aug 18-24, Sept 8-14

Tour Rates: $ 4,850 per person (price is in Canadian dollars and subject to GST tax of 5%). Deposit $ 800 per person, and the rest is due 35 days before the tour date.

Notes:

​

1. The minimum age limit for Grizzly Bear Expedition is 10 and 12 for the Sea Kayaking Tour.  

2. The maximum group size is 6 and the minimum group to run the tour is 3 travelers.

3. The additional cost for accommodation will be applied to solo travelers.

Cancellation policy:

In the event you should cancel the tour with more than 35 days' notice by email, a full refund of the deposit less a $50 admin fee per person will be given. If the rest of the balance is paid, then a 3% processing fee will be applied per person.  With less than 35 days, NO REFUND for the full price. We recommend the purchase of third-party trip cancellation insurance for your protection in the event of illness and such. There will be no refunds on early departure from the tour.
